General Waste Bin
Your general waste garbage bin has a red lid. General waste from this garbage bin is picked up from the kerbside on a fortnightly basis and is transported and processed at Singleton Waste Management Facility.
In Singleton, the general waste service is provided by JR Richards & Sons.
What CAN go in my general waste bin?
The general waste service is for any waste types that cannot be diverted from landfill though other waste services and programs.
This can include nappies, chip packets, bread bags, cling wrap, broken items and glass, pet poo etc.
To divert further reusable resources from the general waste bin such as soft plastics, clothes, textiles, electronic waste, batteries, lightbulbs and polystyrene, sign up free for the RecycleSmart program.
