Council operations + services October long weekend

A number of Council facilities and services will be closed for the public holiday on Monday 6 October, including:

  • Council’s Administration Building
  • Singleton Public Library
  • Singleton Youth Venue
  • Childrens Services
  • Singleton Animal Management Facility
  • Singleton Arts and Cultural Centre

All animals in Council’s Animal Management Facility will be cared for as per normal business operations. For emergency situations, such as dog attacks and stock on roads, please contact NSW Police.

Council facilities and services that will operate on Monday 6 October include:

  • Singleton Waste Management Facility – open 9am – 4.30pm
  • Kerbside collection services will operate as normal
  • Singleton Visitor Information Centre – open 10am – 3pm

Other facilities and services operating across the October long weekend:

  • Singleton Gym and Swim – open Friday 5am-8pm, Saturday 6am-6pm, Sunday 10am-6pm, Monday 10am-6pm
  • Lake St Clair Park is fully booked for camping, but day passes are available: www.singleton.nsw.gov.au/lakestclair
