Road closures - Boonal + Howe streets, Singleton - 19 August 2026

Boonal and Howe streets, Singleton will be closed on Wednesday 19 August between 7am-3pm as Council undertakes road widening and heavy patching works as part of the new roundabout at the intersection. The streets will be closed to normal traffic with resident access only. Detours will be in place.

Development Application Process

Pre-Lodgement

To make the process as streamlines as possible, here we take you through the initial planning phase of your project right through to lodging your application.

Lodgement

You've made it this far and now you are ready to lodge your applications. Here's all the required documentation and forms you need to lodge.

Assessment

Once your application is received by the Planning and Development team, the application will be allocated to a Development Planner for assessment.

Determination

Once the application has been determined, a Notice of Determination and copy of the stamped approved plans will be issued to the applicant.

Post Determination

Information about modification of consent, construction certificates, occupation certificates, subdivision certificates and reviews of determination.
