Broke Road was severely damaged during the July 2022 major flooding event.

Following ongoing advocacy to the NSW Government to gain funding approval, and extensive technical design development, the $1.2million tender for Broke Road reconstruction works was awarded to KCE.

Works to repair the road commenced in July 2023 and included the installation of two new culverts, water main replacement and resurfacing of the road. This project was completed, and the road reopened, in October 2023.

The project was funded by Transport for NSW’s Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement.
