Hello Singleton Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
The following rules apply to the Hello Singleton Prize Draw run by Singleton Council for promotional purposes in connection with the launch of the Hello Singleton e-newsletter.
1. Promotion Period
Entries open at 9am AEST on 1 September 2025 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 31 October 2025.
2. How to Enter
To enter the prize draw, participants must subscribe to the Hello Singleton e-newsletter via the official subscription link at singleton.nsw.gov.au/hellosingleton during the promotion period. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Multiple entries by the same individual will be disqualified.
3. Prize Details
There are three (3) prizes available, each consisting of a $100 Spend in Singleton voucher. Prizes are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item, and must be used in accordance with the voucher’s terms and conditions.
4. Prize Draw and Winner Notification
The winners will be selected by a random electronic draw conducted at 10am AEST on 3 November 2025 at Singleton Council’s Administration Building, Queen Street, Singleton NSW 2330. The draw will be overseen by at least two Council officers to ensure fairness.
Winners will be notified by email within seven (7) days of the draw date. Winners’ names will also be published on Singleton Council’s website and/or social media pages.
5. Claiming the Prize
Winners must claim their prize within 28 days of notification by attending Singleton Council’s Administration Building in person and providing valid photo identification. If a prize is not claimed within this period, the winner will forfeit the prize, which will be re-drawn in accordance with these terms.
6. Eligibility
All employees of Singleton Council, including the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillors, General Manager, Directors, are ineligible to win.
7. Limit on Number of Prizes per Participant
No participant may win more than one prize. Duplicate entries from the same individual will be removed before the draw.
8. Disputes and Decisions
All disputes relating to the promotion or prize draw will be resolved by Singleton Council’s Executive Manager, whose decision is final and binding. The promotion is subject to applicable Australian laws.
9. Conduct of Promotion
This prize draw is conducted by Singleton Council to promote community engagement with the Hello Singleton newsletter and local government initiatives.
10. Forfeiture and Re-Draw
If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim their prize within the specified 28-day period, the prize will be forfeited and a re-draw will be conducted under the same conditions as the original draw.
11. Privacy
By entering, participants consent to Singleton Council using their personal information for the purpose of conducting this prize draw and for notifying winners. Personal details will be handled in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) and Council’s Privacy Policy.
