Grab the entire family and bring them along to the action-packed Singleton Emergency Service Expo. You don’t want to miss this unique opportunity to see our local emergency services in action, meet your heroes, experience live simulations and demonstrations, and learn about how you can prepare for an emergency event.  

About the Expo

Singleton Council, in collaboration with state-wide and local Emergency Services and organisations, provide this educational, fun, and free annual community event for all ages. The Emergency Services Expo is designed to showcase the essential roles our emergency services play, and to help Singleton residents get prepared for an emergency. 

This event received grant funding from the Australian Government.

The 2024 Singleton Emergency Services Expo will be held on Saturday 23 March from 9am - 12pm on the grounds next to Singleton Council's Administration Building in Civic Avenue.

• Multi-agency rescue demo led by our local NSW Ambulance Rescue Specialists
• RFS pile burn demonstration
• RFS Rescue Helicopter landing
• SES rescue demonstration
• The Pillowcase Project with the Australian Red Cross
• CPR, first aid, mental health first aid info
• Community Get Ready Teams
• Emergency service mascot race
• Competition for the best dressed kids – come dressed as your favourite emergency service!
• Selfie with emergency services competition⁠ – upload your selfie to social media, tag Singleton Council and use hashtag #GetReadySingleton2024
• Get Ready Bingo for kids – get a stamp at every stall to go in the draw for prizes⁠
• Emergency vehicles display
• Food trucks + coffee van + hot roast beef rolls + hot dogs + bacon and egg rolls + water and soft drinks

The Expo will also feature a sensory-friendly space. Expo attendees with sensory sensitivities can also access the nearby Singleton Public Library, which will be open 9am-2pm on Saturday.
