Drought Resilience Information Session with Verified Regen Grown
This is a free online information session for the Verified RegenGrown program, delivered through the Upper Hunter Drought Resilience initiative.
Farmers across Singleton, Muswellbrook and the Upper Hunter are no strangers to challenging elements. But regeneration offers a different path forward - one grounded in understanding your land, making better decisions with less guesswork, and building resilience that lasts beyond the next dry (and wet!) spell.
This session is for farmers interested in joining Verified RegenGrown - a 12-week program by Carbon8 that helps you measure what matters most, monitor change, and communicate your commitment to land care with confidence.
Thanks to support from the NSW Environmental Trust and the Regional Drought Resilience Planning Program, participation for farmers in these regions is heavily subsidised.
What you’ll learn in this session:
-
What the Verified RegenGrown program involves, including a look inside the online platform
-
How the program supports better water cycling and retention, soil health, and ecological decision-making
-
What’s included in the RegenGrown Toolkit and how you’ll be supported to use it
-
How expert guidance and peer connection are built into the learning journey
The online program kicks off 29 August. Usually priced at $1,950, local farmers can participate for just $50 - a cost that goes toward your RegenGrown Toolkit.
Optional in-person events at Scone or Denman will also be held before the program begins, offering a chance to meet with fellow farmers and start the journey face-to-face.
Whether you're already working regeneratively or just starting to explore what’s possible, this is a chance to build lasting resilience - from the soil up.
