If the hirer is responsible for set up and pack down please ensure event closure is as per the booking agreement. Consequences of failing to pack down within the specified time will result in further hire charges.

Lighting

Within the auditorium hire of the Singleton Civic Centre, a basic lighting design is included in the hire cost (a static initial lighting set up). If your event requires further creative lighting designs and/or the operation of the lighting console, the services of an AV/LX technician will be included within your quotation. This technician will be responsible for the programming and operation of the lighting design.

Audio/Video

Within the auditorium and/or foyer hire of the Singleton Civic Centre, radio microphones and a choice of several data projectors are included in the hire cost. If your event requires further creative audio support (playing of audio from various sources, live mixing of front of house audio, etc.), the services of an AV/LX technician will be included within your quote. This Technician will be responsible for the operation of the audio and video equipment.

Note: If you wish to operate this specialist lighting or audio equipment yourself, the Council Officer will need to provide approval, based on your level of expertise. Outside users of this equipment will be responsible for its care for the duration of the event.
