At Council’s Ordinary Meeting held on 21 February 2023, Council resolved to place draft POL/10070.1 Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure on Council Land Policy on public exhibition for a period of 28 days and provide public notice of its intention to adopt the draft Policy subject to consideration of submissions received.
The purpose of the policy is to define clear processes to guide prospective Providers and Council on the provision, installation, operation and management, maintenance and removal of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure on appropriate parcels of Public Land.
The draft Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure on Council Land Policy is available for viewing here and in person at Council’s Customer Service Centre, Visitor Information Centre and Public Library until 13 April 2023.
Submissions should be made in writing and addressed to the General Manager, Singleton Council PO Box 314 Singleton NSW 2330 or sent via email to E council@singleton.nsw.gov.au prior to 4.30pm 13 April 2023.
