Library of Things + the Creative Shelf

Whether you want to have a go at playing the guitar, making your own pasta or searching for buried treasure with a metal detector there is something for everyone in the Library of things. The creative shelf is the crafty arm of the Library of Things, with resources and equipment to help you with your latest creative project. 

Borrowers must be aged 18 or above, and items must be returned in the same condition as they were borrowed.

 

Toy Library

Over 500 games and puzzles are available through the Singleton Toy Library for a three week loan period. 

All items in the collection aid in the development of specific skills and abilities in children, inclusive of those with special needs. Items which encourage fine and gross motor skills, sensory play, cognitive abilities and language skills.

The service allows families to borrow toys with an educational nature that provide pleasurable learning experience and promote child development in language, numeracy, social interaction, muscle development, imagination and creativity.

Cake Tins

Whether you are a seasoned baker or a rookie cook, the Library's cake tin collection is available to all members ready for your next birthday or special occasion. The collection includes over 70 different shapes - from Micky Mouse and 3D castles to Darth Vader.

 

Seed Library

The Singleton Seed Library is run by Singleton Library in conjunction with the Singleton Slow Food Group. Pop in and borrow some seeds today!
