Talk to Us

The planning and development application process can be difficult and daunting to navigate, which is why we’re here to help.

We encourage you to talk to us about your building or development options early on in the planning process.

Council’s Duty Planner is available to provide general advice and to assist in the process of submitting your application. Advice from the Duty Planner is generally recommended for less complex matters, such as general planning- related enquiries and advice for small-scale development, Local Environmental Plan (LEP) amendments and Development Control Plan (DCP) amendments.

Where the development is more complex in nature, a pre-lodgement meeting is offered.

Council’s Duty Planner is available for general enquiries at Council's Administration Building on Monday to Friday from 8.30am -12pm.
