1st + 3rd Wednesday of the month | 5.20 - 6.30pm
A quiet book club with a difference. Enjoy an hour reading a book of your choice, with no debating or dissecting!
Bring or borrow a book of your choice and relax alongside like-minded company and enjoy the simplicity of reading for an hour. This is a great way to connect with others who share a love for reading, give yourself accountability in reaching reading goals and setting aside time for you.
Don’t know what to read? There will be staff suggested titles available to choose from each session.
How it works:
Come along at 5.20pm to choose your book and say hello. A bell will ring at 5.30pm to signify the start of quiet reading time, and again at 6.30pm to signify the end.
Audio book listeners are welcome, be sure to bring your headphones to listen to them.
We request that mobile phones are turned to silent, and no talking to be initiated during the reading hour.
Chatting is welcome before and after the hour of reading! This program is for ages 18+.
