There’ll be plenty to splash about this summer with an all-new $1.5million water play attraction now open at Singleton Gym + Swim.

A splashpad has replaced the existing outdoor toddler pool at the facility and includes spray jets, slides, fountains and interactive water play elements.

Construction began on 31 July 2025 and while a mechanical breakdown and global trade conditions delayed the delivery of the water features, the splashpad was officially installed on 20 January 2026.

Upgrades to the changerooms and car park (worth more than $400,000) are now completed, which included resurfacing, new line marking, signs and bollards to match the existing layout, and new solar-powered lighting installed.

Meanwhile the Gym + Swim Mechanical Upgrades Project is entering its final phase, with the wading pool soon to have its own dedicated filtration, chemical dosing, and heating system – separate from the 25m pool.

To make this happen, both the wading pool and 25m pool will be offline from 24 November 2025 and are expected to reopen on 31 March 2026.

We understand this is a long closure, particularly over the summer months, and thank our community for your patience while these essential upgrades are completed. The improvements will provide safer, more efficient, and higher-quality swimming experiences for everyone once the pools reopen.
