Singleton Council is launching the new Industry Growth Series, a targeted workshop and forum series designed to support local businesses to identify and access growth opportunities across emerging and established industries.

The first session will focus on Defence opportunities for local business, exploring how local businesses can tap into defence-related opportunities and understand where their existing capabilities may align with future supply chain needs.

This event is particularly relevant for businesses operating in:

• Mining and heavy industry
• Asset maintenance and field services
• Logistics and transport
• Manufacturing and fabrication
• Engineering and subcontracting supply chains

The session will cover:

• Defence subcontracting and sustainment opportunities
• How existing mining and heavy industry capabilities can transfer to defence supply chains
• Asset maintenance, logistics and manufacturing opportunities
• Pathways into defence-related infrastructure projects
• Emerging opportunities in modular manufacturing, energy and resilience initiatives
• Available support programs, networks and practical next steps for business
