Council operations + services June long weekend

A number of Council facilities will be closed for the King’s Birthday public holiday on Monday 8 June 2026, including:

• Council’s Administration Building
• Singleton Public Library
• Childrens Services (OOSH + Colleen Gale)
• Singleton Animal Management Facility
• Singleton Arts + Cultural Centre
• Singleton Youth Venue

Council’s Ranger Services will resume on Tuesday 9 June.

All animals in Council’s Animal Management Facility will be cared for as per normal business operations.

For emergency situations, such as dog attacks and stock on roads, please contact NSW Police. Stray dogs are not considered to be an emergency.

Council facilities and services that will remain operational on Monday 8 June include:

• Singleton Waste Management Facility open 9am – 4.30pm
• Kerbside waste collection services will operate as normal
• Singleton Visitor Information Centre open 10am – 3pm
• Singleton Gym + Swim open 10am – 4pm 

Day passes are available for Lake St Clair Park.
