2025 Christmas / New Year Operational Hours

Details of the operating hours of Council services over the Christmas and New Year period are shown below:
Singleton Administration Centre
The Administration Centre will be closed from 11am on Wednesday 24 December 2025. Regular operating hours will resume on Monday 5 January 2026, with after-hours phone diversion in place during this period. During this time, key personnel will be available in line with Council’s After-Hours Assistance Rosters and Emergency / Disaster Management Planning requirements.
Singleton Visitor Information Centre (SVIC)
The SVIC will be closed from 11am on Wednesday 24 December 2025. Modified opening times will be in place from 10am to 3pm Saturday 27 December 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026. The centre will resume normal operating hours from Friday 2 January 2026.
Singleton Arts & Cultural Centre (SACC)
The Singleton Arts & Cultural Centre will be closed from 1am on Wednesday 24 December 2025. Modified opening times will be in place from 10am to 3pm Saturday 27 December 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026. The Centre will resume normal operating hours (Tuesday to Sunday, 9.30am to 4.30pm, closed Mondays) from Friday 2 January 2026.
Singleton Library
The Library will be closed from 11am on Wednesday 24 December 2025. Regular operating hours will resume on Monday 5 January 2026. Digital resources can be accessed throughout the closure period.
Singleton Youth Venue
The Youth Venue will be closed from 11am on Wednesday 24 December 2025. Regular operating hours will resume on Monday 5 January 2026.
Colleen Gale Children’s Services
Colleen Gale Children’s Centre will close from 6.30pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 and will reopen with normal operating hours at 6.30am on Monday 5 January 2026.
Singleton Out of School Hours Care (OOSH)
Singleton OOSH will close from 6.30pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 and will reopen with vacation care operating hours at 6am on Monday 5 January 2026.
Singleton Animal Management Facility
Council Ranger services will cease at 11am on Wednesday 24 December 2025 and will resume on Monday 5 January 2026.
While Council’s Animal Management Facility remains closed to the public, all impounded animals are cared for during this period.
For emergency situations, such as dog attacks and stock on roads, NSW Police should be contacted.
Singleton Waste Management Facility
The Waste Management Facility will close from 2pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025 until regular operating hours resume at 9am on Saturday 27 December 2025.
On Thursday 1 January 2026 the Waste Management Facility will be open from 9am until 4.30pm as per normal public holiday operational hours.
Kerbside bin collections that are scheduled for Thursday 25 December will occur on Friday 26 December and the collections scheduled for Friday 26 December will occur on Saturday 27 December.
From Saturday 27 December onwards, all waste facility operations and kerbside collections will return to business as usual.
