Council at its meeting on 21 November 2023, resolved to place the draft Community Engagement Policy on exhibition for a period of 28 days.
This policy has been created to support the delivery of the Create Singleton Community Engagement Strategy 2022 – 2032, which sets the framework for the engagement function of Singleton Council, outlining our proactive approach to ensuring all stakeholders can have meaningful involvement that is inclusive, respectful, relevant, and timely.
The community is invited to provide feedback on the draft policy. Due to the Christmas/ New Year period, this exhibition period has been extended until close of business Friday 12 January 2024.
The document is available for viewing here or in hard copy at Council’s Administration Building, Singleton Library and Singleton Visitor Information Centre.
Community submissions are invited and may be addressed to the General Manager via post to PO Box 314 Singleton NSW 2330 or E council@singleton.nsw.gov.au with Submission draft Community Engagement Policy in the subject line by 12 January 2024.
