Join us for Indigenous Literacy Day at Singleton Library celebrating the theme of Country Is Our Teacher.

Be part of the sharing of First Nations Stories, Cultures and Languages with children and adults around Australia as we view a film of children sharing and showcasing their Communities and unique connection to Country, stories, their languages, and cultures. Viewers will learn about life on Warlpiri Country in Nyirripi and Mpartntwe (Alice Springs) and learn words in Warlpiri and Arrente language.

After the film, Indigenous Literacy Foundation Ambassadors and remote Community authors will participate in a livestream involving song, dance, storytelling and learning about Aboriginal cultures.
