Work starts first week of March and will continue throughout the month, weather permitting.

What is road resealing?

Resealing involves applying bitumen spray and aggregate over existing roads. This waterproofs the surface, protects the pavement underneath, reduces dust, improves skid resistance, and keeps your drive smooth and safe.

Why it matters

This proactive approach ensures our roads stay in great condition for years to come, safeguarding the surfaces from water damage and wear while keeping the community moving safely and comfortably.

Roads imp acted by Brunners Bridge construction

Following the reopening of Brunners Bridge, Council has turned additional focus to planning for the repair of impacted sections of Glendon Lane, Glendon Road and Mitchells Flat Road following the detour period. Council crews have immediately begun critical heavy patching activities in these locations and will continue patching works in the weeks to come. Survey and design activities for repair works to Mitchell’s Flat crossing are continuing, with some works currently planned to be underway by April. Planning is also underway to address pavement edge breaks in this location to restore full pavement widths. Council will continue to seek funding to allow for larger scale road reconstruction in some of the most impacted locations.
