Combo Lane Pedestrian Bridge

  • Project typeCauseway + Bridge Rehabilitation
  • Project value$5,073,500
  • Completion Date31 May 2026
Connecting downtown Singleotn to the growing suburb of Hunterview and Singleton Heights will be made pedestrian and cycle-friendly thanks to the construction of a new pedestrian and cycle bridge + implementation of a Quietway on Combo Lane.

The new 1.55km long walking and bike riding connection will stretch from Combo Lane to Wilkinson Boulevard (near Col Fisher Park).

This new community asset will impove access to education and community facilities for local residents, improve pedestrian and cyclist safety and improve linkages between existing cycling routes and provide continuity to the existing and future network. This project will deliver entirely new transport options for people living in Singleton Heights and Hunterview.

The project is funded by a Get Active NSW grant and is due for completion in 2026.

What is a Quietway?

The key design philosophy of a Quietway is the safe integration of people cycling as equal road users to motor vehicles – they are environments where the motor vehicle is a guest on the roadway.
