Bulga Tennis

Completely funded by the Mount Thorley Warkworth VPA Community Committee, this $526,000 project will replace the current tennis courts that are showing signs of wear and tear to deliver two brand new courts – one dedicated to tennis and the other a multi-court that switches between basketball and netball.

The project will also include the addition of an all-new practice wall for tennis and soccer, plus new fencing around the courts and an upgraded LED lighting system.

The fence and lights will be on a new lock and hiring system that can be accessed through a mobile phone app, making the facilities far more secure and easier to access.

These facilities, once completed, will transform an important community asset and provide visitors to Bulga with a modern sport and recreation facility to enjoy for years to come.

Camping, public toilets and other amenities at the recreation ground will remain open during the works, which are due to be completed by the end of October, weather permitting.

Work will be carried out between 6.30am and 5pm on weekdays.
