You don’t want to miss this unique opportunity to see our local emergency services in action, meet your heroes, experience live simulations and demonstrations, and learn about how you can prepare for an emergency event.  

The Expo brings together emergency service agencies to showcase their incredible work and connect with the community.

Expect all the crowd favourites including interactive displays, emergency vehicle tours, hands-on activities for kids, mascot races, challenges and more.

Schedule

9am: Expo commences. Welcome to Country with Wonnarua Elder and an introduction to the day from our MCs.

9.15am onwards: PolAir helicopter landing in Civic Park*

9.30am: NSW Rural Fire Service Juniors demonstration.

10am: Mascot tug-of-war, mascot race, best dressed awards announced.

10.30am: Hunter Surf Lifesaving demonstration with AUV

11.15am: Multi-agency demonstration of a storm response with Ausgrid, Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance, and the NSW State Emergency Services.

12pm: Expo concludes.

* Subject to change due to tasking requirements. No helium balloons allowed at this event. No drones in the air at the time of helicopter landing or take off.
