The Australian Government is introducing AusAlert, a new emergency warning system that will send important alerts directly to compatible mobile devices during major emergencies. Before it officially launches in October, a nationwide test will take place on Monday 27 July at 2pm.
Singleton Council operates the Civic Centre which offers the community a variety of services and facilities for a diverse range of events.
The Singleton Civic Centre is flexible with configurations for social and business events, concerts, theatrical performances, corporate launches, training and inductions, dinners, conferences, weddings, school exams and exhibitions.
The auditorium boasts a large stage area, two dressing rooms, accessible lift and state of the art audio and lighting equipment. The adaptable foyer area has many seating options available for use.
For the comfort of your guests, air conditioning and amenities are also provided.

Yes. Rectangle tables along with chairs are included in the hire. Rectangle tables can seat 8-10 people and are 186cm long, 76cm wide and 74cm high.
Yes. Crockery, cutlery and glasses are included in venue hire.
No. Singleton Council (and associated venues) do not offer on-site catering. The hirer is responsible for organising any catering that they wish to provide. For full details, please refer to the terms and conditions.
Yes, there is ample parking available on site. For bookings with large attendance numbers, please use the overflow car park area.
Please note that you cannot smoke within 10m of Council buildings, entry/exit to buildings or walls, doors, windows and air conditioning intakes.
Council's car park is a smoke free zone. Smokers are not able to smoke on verges within the car park. Smokers can smoke in the overflow car park provided they remain 10m from any vehicle.
The hire charge includes basic stage lighting and sound equipment. If more complex lighting designs and audio set-ups are required, we can provide an additional quote to meet your needs.
Please note: Depending on the level of customer expertise, there is an option to self-operate this audio and lighting equipment. Pre-approval will be required. Outside users of this equipment will be responsible for its care for the duration of the event.
