At Council’s Ordinary Meeting held on 19 September 2023, Council resolved to place the draft Vineyards and Rural Tourism Strategy on public exhibition for a period of 42 days and public notice be provided of the intention to adopt the draft strategy subject to consideration of submissions received.
The purpose of the draft Vineyards and Rural Tourism Strategy is to facilitate future land use planning and development outcomes for the vineyard district. The Strategy aims to deliver viticulture and tourism growth, as well as rural living opportunities in the Singleton Local Government Area by complementing existing land use and minimise potential land use conflict.
The draft strategy is available for viewing bellow, or in person at Council’s Customer Service Centre, Visitor Information Centre and Public Library until Tuesday 21 November 2023.
Submissions should be made in writing and addressed to the General Manager, Singleton Council PO Box 314 Singleton NSW 2330 or sent via email to E council@singleton.nsw.gov.au prior to 4.30pm 4 December 2023.
