Singleton Library Covid-19 Safety Conditions of Entry

In accordance with NSW Health guidelines the following conditions of entry are being maintained for the safety of both the staff and the community.

  • Visitors who are unwell, even if only mild are asked to stay at home;
  • “Special hour” 9 – 10am for people in high-risk categories, e.g. over 70 years;
  • Capacity limit, one person per 4 square metres;
  • Follow markings for entry and exit;
  • Ensure 1.5 metre distance from others;
  • Seating and tables are to remain as positioned to comply with physical distancing;
  • Respect markers promoting physical distancing;
  • Any item handled must be put on the quarantine trolleys provided;
  • Staff will manage numbers entering the building and will ensure physical distancing is adhered to;
  • Signage indicates the maximum safe capacity of all areas;
  • All returns are quarantined and cleaned before being returned to the shelves;
  • Ensure good hand hygiene, sanitise at station provided upon entry and exit;
  • A record of name, contact number or reliable email for all visitors is required to be maintained for 28 days
