Join us at the Singleton Seniors Festival – Expo, February 19, 2020 from 10am-3pm

The Singleton Seniors Festival - Expo will showcase Community Services organisations and groups available for the over 55’s. The day will include a High Tea, Schoolies and Seniors Oral History Project, Entertainment and the Community Services Expo.

 Wednesday 19 February is an opportunity for the over 55’s to access services and activities or even volunteer for a local organisation. There is no cost for the event and you may even take something away. The Expo will include sporting, arts, culture, health and community services and special interest groups providing information and opportunities.

During Festival week there are a host of activities that will be offered. This would be an opportunity for people who may be interested in joining groups to have a look and see exactly what is involved. A program of activities will be available.

Celebration of Seniors High Tea
A reserved seating fully-catered high tea including table entertainment and music by the Singleton High School and the Schoolies and Seniors Oral History project with Singleton Library.

This will be followed by the Community Expo conducted on 19th February from 10am till 3pm.

Seniors Festival Expo will include:

  • Reading and Heritage with Singleton Library
  • Craft & Sewing with Singleton Craft groups
  • Cooking & Baking with CWA
  • Making with Men’s Shed and Singleton Woodworkers
  • Knowledge with U3A
  • Engaging with School students
  • High Tea – catered by Mama’s Kitchen and SHS students
  • Community Services providing information stalls and engagement

Participants will be able to browse the sites, speak to representatives, pick up information, ask questions and even sign up to join.
