Emergency Services Expo

EMERGENCY SERVICES EXPO 2021 POSTPONED

In accordance with advice from the Federal and State governments and health authorities, Singleton Council in partnership with local emergency service agencies have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2021 Emergency Services Expo.

The decision was made with the health and safety of the community as Council’s top priority, and Council would like to acknowledge the support of all event stakeholders in this decision.

The new event date will likely be in March 2022, and will be posted to this page and Council's facebook page when known.


ABOUT THE EXPO

The Expo is designed to showcase the role our emergency services play, and how resident’s can prepare themselves for an emergency situation. 

The following services will be attending the expo:

  • NSW Fire and Rescue
  • NSW Police
  • NSW Ambulance
  • Coal Services
  • Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service
  • Local Land Services
  • RMS 
  • Singleton Council
  • Red Cross
  • Salvation Army
  • Rural Aid
  • Rural Resilience
  • NSW Parks & Wildlife
  • Service NSW
  • RFS
  • Department of Family and Community Service

A range of demonstrations will be conducted on the day, including:

  • Simulated car crash
  • Emergency evacuation scenario
  • RFS Chainsaw demonstration
  • Mascot race
  • Competition for best dressed for kids (come dressed as your favourite emergency service!)
