Drought Assistance

Singleton Council has partnered with a range of stakeholders to be a conduit between Singleton farmers and the services available to rural producers to make finding help easier.

Staff at the Singleton Library and Singleton Visitor Information Centre are available during business hours on weekdays for people to come in for a cup of a tea and a chat to find out what assistance is available, and to use computers or connect to the internet to register for help.

Working in partnership with the many government agencies and organisations supporting our farmers, Council staff will be on hand to help people register with Rural Aid and other organisations distributing hay bales, food and other essentials.

We can help you by connecting you to support services, assist you in filling in paperwork and refer you to Rural Aid and other services.
