Community Survey Reports

Every couple of years we ask you, with the help of our independent researchers, how we're tracking. Here you will find the survey reports for 2014 and 2016.

We know its important to be accountable and check in with our community to ensure that you are happy with the current and future services and facilities that Council provides.From this independent research we can capture:

  • What the communities priorities are
  • How satisfied the community is with Council's performance and activities
  • Any trends and benchmarks that are happening across the years.

What You Said in 2018

In 2018, the results indicated that the community's satisfaction rating with Council is above both regional and metropolitan Council performance benchmarks.

3.28: Overall satisfaction with Council's performance

  • 83% of residents said they were at least "somewhat satisfied" with Council's performance
  • 47% of residents said what they love most about Singleton is the safe and friendly feeling in our town and its central location.
  • 55% of residents said the biggest impacts for the community in the next 10 years are reducing traffic congestion and generating local employment.
