Singleton Council manages the following cemeteries:

• Sedgefield Cemetery, Gresford Road, Sedgefield
• Jerrys Plains Cemetery, Piribil Street, Jerrys Plains

Plots include:

• Lawn Section (traditional grave site with basic cross/headstone)
• Monumental (elaborate grave site with marbled finishes)
• Columbarium (ashes/cremation)

SEDGEFIELD CEMETERY MAYORAL FUND

 Following vandalism at Sedgefield Cemetery in June where 36 gravestones were damaged, Mayor of Singleton, Cr Sue Moore has established a Mayoral Fund to assist with repair works.

Donations may be made in person at Council’s Administration Centre or the Visitor Information Centre during business hours, or via direct transfer to Singleton Council’s Trust Fund BSB: 082-845 and Account Number: 507432005 with a payment identification of “Cemetery”.

Families affected by the incident can contact Council’s Customer Service Team on T 02 6578 7290 or via email to council@singleton.nsw.gov.au to be included on a register as the repairs progress.
