With the release of the latest government support packages, we understand that it can be incredibly confusing in identifying and navigating your way through the grants and support options that are currently available for you, your business, or your employees due to COVID-19.
On this page, you will find an update of what support is available, plus information on additional local support for Singleton businesses in the form of virtual advice sessions and the return of the Business Supporting Business (Round 4).
Local Support for Singleton Businesses
Singleton Council and the Singleton Business Chamber are organising virtual business support sessions and a fourth round of Business Supporting Business with the aim to provide support for local businesses.
One-on-one Virtual Support Sessions
These sessions will help you clarify what support is right for you and your business and provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. They will be run by a Business Facilitator from the Strengthening Business program.

Coming Soon - $250 Preloaded Spend In Singleton Gift Card
In the coming weeks, the fourth round of the Business Supporting Business Program will launch, providing a $250 Spend In Singleton Gift Card to assist business in Singleton who have been impacted by COVID-19 with the purchase of immediate and essential purchases.

Included below is a summary of the latest COVID-19 grant support and business relief that is available for business in Singleton:
Small Business Grants
- Tier 1: Cancellation of 10 room nights or less, there is a grant of $2,000
- Tier 2: Cancellation of 11 room nights or more, there is a grant of $5,000

- Free One-on-One Business Support
Connect with an independent accredited professional business advisor who has first-hand experience in running their own small business to receive personalised advice for your immediate business needs.
- Develop a Personalised Roadmap to Strengthen Your Business
Work with an expert to who understands your local challenges to build a roadmap, to strengthen your business systems, operations and strategies. The Strengthening Business program is available at no cost for business owners. An advisor will work with you to make your business stronger, more resilient and better prepared for the future.
- A One-on-One Phone Call with a Business Concierge
This NSW Business Concierge service will guide you through the changes in regulation and advise what additional assistance is available for small business owners. Phone 13 77 88 or book a call-back online.
- Financial Counselling
A free and confidential service for small business in regional areas affected by COVID-19. Register your interest by phoning 1300 771 741.
What COVID-19 grant support is currently available for your business?
- Covid-19 Micro Business Grants
A $1500 fortnight payment is available for business with a turnover between $30 000 and $75 000. Eligibility requirements include having a revenue decline of at least a 30% and the business needs to be the primary income source for a person associated with the business.

- COVID-19 Business Grants
For business with a turnover above $75 000, a one-off payment (between $7500 to $15 000) is available to help businesses maintain employees (as at 13 July). Eligibility requires a revenue decline of over 30% and payroll less than $10 million. Applications are open now.
- Job Saver
Fortnightly payment to support the retention of employees (as at 13 July) and to aid business cashflow. The fortnightly payment will vary depending on if you are a:
- Employing business
- Receive from $1500 to $10000 per week.
- Non-employing business
- Receive $1000 per week.
Eligibility criteria requires a business turnover of above $75 000 and up to $50 million and a revenue decline of over 30%. Applications open late July. Register your interest with Service NSW.
COVID Assistance Finder
A COVID-19 assistance finder is also available. The finder will also assist with navigating the support available by taking you through a step-by-step series of questions to identify what options are relevant to your current situation.
