Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Alliance
On 17 August 2015, Singleton Council endorsed the proposed Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Alliance, draft Memorandum of Understanding and draft Terms of Reference and Operating Rules for the purpose of collaboration in the promotion and advancement of the Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism industries.

Singleton Council has entered into the alliance with Cessnock City Council and the Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association. The Mayor, Cr John Martin OAM and the General Manager will be Council’s representatives on the Alliance Committee.

Calls for expressions of interest for a third representative on the Alliance Committee from community members who believe they could adequately represent, consult and communicate with the wine and tourism industries across our two local government areas has now closed.

The purpose of the Alliance is to work together in good faith for the promotion, advancement and development of the Hunter Valley wine and tourism industries including:

(a) Achieving unity between stakeholders and speaking with one voice;
